'He Sent Me A Picture Of Myself In A Wheelchair Following My Hip Injury'

Looks like thing have turned sour between former pals Lady Gaga and Perez Hilton - the 'Applause' singer has claimed the celebrity blogger mocked her after she had her hip accident.

Gaga revealed on Twitter that Perez sent her a picture of herself in a wheelchair with the word 'karma' written on it, along with a image of Madonna pointing a gun at her.

"Still have the text Perez sent me of me in a wheelchair w the words KARMA written across + Madonna pointing a gun at me. Day of my accident," she tweeted.

She then begged her fans to ignore his hatred, adding: "Please monsters do not be affected by someone like this NOTHING merits this kind of hatred. Im ok & I always survive. Ignore him. Just Dance."

Lady Gaga was confined to a wheelchair earlier this year

While Perez has not commented directly on Gaga's accusations, he took to Twitter to make a catty swipe at the on-going chart battle between her and Katy Perry in the US, which sees the 'Roar' singer ahead in the Billboard Hot 100.

"Woah! @LadyGaGa's Applause has dropped to #4 on @iTunesMusic in America. That country singer, Luke Bryan, is beating her," he wrote.

The pair used to be great friends

Lady Gaga was forced to cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour in February after she was diagnosed with a severe inflammation of the joints, and then later required surgery on her hip to fix a labral tear.

She recently revealed her injuries were more severe than she first let on, telling WWD.com: “My injury was actually a lot worse than a tear. I had broken my hip.

“There were giant craters, a hole in my hip the size of a quarter, and the cartilage was just hanging out the other side. I had a tear on the inside of my joint and a huge breakage.

“The surgeon told me if I had done another show I might have needed a full hip replacement. I would have been out at least a year, maybe longer,” she added.
